Clinical Triage Nurse

Amy’s role as Remote Clinical Triage Nurse plays a critical role in community health centers by assessing patient symptoms, determining the level of care needed, and guiding patients to the appropriate services—all remotely. Using clinical protocols and nursing judgment, Amy provides education, support care coordination, and helps to reduce unnecessary ER visits. This role enhances access to care while supporting timely and efficient clinical decision-making.

Amy is an experienced and compassionate nurse with over 20 years in clinical care, care coordination, and patient education. She has a strong background in transitional care, orthopedic support, and high-risk patient management, with a long tenure at Community Health Care where she helped develop the TOC program. Amy is skilled in triage, EMR systems, and multidisciplinary communication, and is known for her efficiency, reliability, and patient-centered approach. She holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Stark State College and is licensed as both an RN and LPN.
